Ms Sophia — 5/5 (via Google)
I absolutely love this nail salon. I requested hyper-realistic nails, and the results exceeded my expectations — they look so natural, you would think they were my own. The technicians took their time to perfectly match and blend the colors for an impressively seamless finish. Excellent service and exceptional quality. A full 10/10.

Listen, Cherry is THAT GIRL when it comes to hard/Japanese gel, including nail art. As long as you bring an inspo or reference pic, she can do almost anything. More importantly though, the gel application is perfect every time. I haven't had any issues with lifting, and each set has lasted a minimum of 4 weeks. My most recent set with the painted cherries is 6 weeks old (!!!) and the only way you'd know is the crazy long length and negligible paint chipping along the very edge, which is frankly insane. Almost wanted to gatekeep but I want Cherry and this salon to do well! It's really clean and nice inside, everyone is friendly, and the price point is extremely fair for SF proper, esp considering the location right in Hayes Valley.

I’ve been looking for a walking distance spot for hard gel since my lady is in Daly City & normally cannot take last min appts. I asked for circle/almond and they did a decent job on the shape. However 6 nails dont match sizes — (right/left are larger/ smaller). This really bothers me and I didn’t really notice until after I left the salon. The technician who did the smile lines on the French tip also did them mostly crooked, I had to provide guidance on each one as to which side needed to be balanced. It wasn’t pleasant that I had to do that, but not the end of the world. The final nail filing to sharpen the shape after the top coat is what got me. The technician did it so hard that it ended up cutting me quite deep & I’m wearing a bandaid now. I was drawn by the phenomenal reviews, but my overall experience was mid— but not necessarily a never again. Technicians were very nice. UPDATE: Changing from 2 star to 4--- After I left this review, the owner Lynn reached out right away, refunded me a partial amound and invited me back to fix the set. I came back in and she paired me with one of her longest nail techs and she corrected the varying nail sizes. I really appreciate the outreach and gesture.

Lynn and her team did it again! I loved how they recreated the nail art from my inspo photo. They took their time, checked in on both me and my boyfriend, and stayed focused on perfecting the designs and our pedicures. I’ll definitely be requesting Lynn again. (First photo is the inspo.)
